Mens hockey league update

20/21 Season Update - The consequences of Local Lockdown

On Monday 28th September Hockey Wales announced that no competitive hockey (other than elite hockey) is to take place in Wales. They confirmed that competitive hockey involving Welsh teams can however take place in England.
As of 1st October Welsh Government have placed all counties in South Wales (with the exception of Monmouthshire) into a local lockdown. This means no one can enter, or leave, these areas without good cause (which does not include playing non elite sport).
As a consequence of these positions of the NGB and national government the league committee met on the 30th September to determine the impact on the Verde Recreo HL 20/21 season.

For further information please refer to the Verde Recreo website article.
